Upside Software CEO Interviewed on Microsoft’s ISV Connect
Upside Software CEO, Ashif Mawji, discusses the advantages of .NET with Microsoft
EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA—Upside Software Inc. President and CEO, Ashif Mawji, was recently interviewed on Microsoft’s new quarterly program, ISV Connect, by Mark Young, General Manager of Microsoft’s ISV Group within the Developer and Platform Evangelism division. This was the very first instalment of the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Connect program – a strategy broadcast for Microsoft ISV Partners which overviews programs, technology, and opportunities for ISVs developing and providing solutions on the Microsoft platform.
“The program provides partners with insights into Microsoft’s partner focused initiatives which allow them to take the next step in aligning company strategies with the array of sales, marketing, and technical enablement programs offered at Microsoft,” said Young. Along with key industry trends and Microsoft news, the broadcast delivers views and opinions from industry peers (Executive Partner Interview) about how they utilize Microsoft worldwide partner resources to ultimately achieve success with their customers. In the inaugural webcast, Young talks to Mawji about how the UpsideContract solution improves customer and supplier relationships and how building on the .NET platform has contributed to the success of Upside Software, a Microsoft ISV Gold Certified Partner.
“Membership definitely has its privileges,” says Mawji of Upside Software’s Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program. “Microsoft’s ISV Connect initiative allows companies like Upside Software to reach out to other partners in the program through the sharing of information and success stories which helps build a strong community of technology expertise,” Mawji continued, “being a Gold Certified Partner provides us with a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, which enhances our ability to create and deliver market-leading solutions based on the latest Microsoft technology that exceed customer expectations.”
